OBSERVATRORY TELESCOPE
At the Roque de Los Muchachos Observatory on the highest peak of the island of La Palma (Canary Islands) there are three telescopes that make up the Isaac Newton Group. These are the William Herschel Telescope, the Isaac Newton Telescope and the Jacobus Kapteyn Telescope. These telescopes are jointly operated by the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Spain. The telescopes are located on La Palma because the weather conditions are ideal there. The peaks are above the clouds and there is little disturbing light from the surroundings.TECHNOLOGY
