The increased demand of the market for longer printed circuit boards continues and therefore it is time to expand one of the SMD assembly lines with an additional “long board” Pick and Place machine from the brand Juki. Because of this investment, we have a double capacity on this line. OEM companies are going to bring more and more production back to the Netherlands and ask if we can relieve them. Because BHC designed according to “design for manufactoring”, more products need to be redesigned to reduce the handwork share because the hands here are more expensive than in low-wage countries. If that is done in a good way, chances are that the product under the strip will eventually become cheaper.
